Cedarwood Atlas Essential Oil
Botanical name Cedrus atlantica
Family: pinacea
The oil is obtained from the steam distillation of the wood of this beautiful 100ft tree believed to originate from the great cedars of Lebanon though now growing in North Africa.
This woody oil is highly antiseptic and a mild astringent and is great for teating acne,eczema or dermatitis.
Respiratory conditions like catarrah or asthema respond well to cedarwoods expectorant yet soothing action.
Cystitis is relieved by using the oil in a sitz bath or compress.
Generally relaxing and soothing ,centering effect for mind and body.
